About the Play
Written by 2017 Br!NK Award Winner, Reina Hardy, ANNIE JUMP AND THE LIBRARY OF HEAVEN is the first Br!NK play to be produced on Renaissance Theaterworks’ mainstage.
Annie Jump is a lonely 13-year-old, self proclaimed “science genius” living in Strawberry, Kansas. Althea is an intergalactic super computer manifesting as a mean girl with really great hair. Althea’s here to help Annie take humanity from the earth to the stars, but being the “Chosen One” isn’t all glory. What is Althea hiding? And what will Annie have to sacrifice to fulfill her destiny?
